{"id":21393,"date":"2025-09-01T16:09:35","date_gmt":"2025-09-01T14:09:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/silla.industries\/docs\/prism-howto-card-rfid-horeca\/"},"modified":"2025-09-12T15:19:46","modified_gmt":"2025-09-12T13:19:46","password":"","slug":"prism-howto-card-rfid-horeca","status":"publish","type":"docs","link":"https:\/\/silla.industries\/en\/docs\/prism-howto-card-rfid-horeca\/","title":{"rendered":"HoReCa \/ RFID Cards"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Introduction<\/h1>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/silla.industries\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Tessere-RFID-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16967\" style=\"width:301px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">RFID cards were chosen as the authentication method for Prism recharging for all contexts where end-user identification and accounting for recharging sessions are desired.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">HoReCa, on the other hand, is the cloud service that provides the ability to better manage charging points and related authorizations through RFID cards.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through HoReCa it is indeed possible to perform the following operations:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Check charging sessions by individual user.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Download specific reports of charging sessions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check the list of RFID cards authorized for charging.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enable\/disable one or more RFID cards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div class=\"warning\">\nHoreca service is not compatible with Prism Solar DUO devices\n<\/div>\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Configuration<\/h1>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To enable the use of RFID cards, the HoReCa service must be enabled through the MySilla portal.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The mode of registration of the cards is the same whether Prism is in Single installation mode or a cluster, with the caveat, in the latter context, that all cards are associated with the Primary Prism: authorization of charging through RFID cards will be distributed in this way to all Secondary Prisms.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order to use RFID cards, these steps must be followed:<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Disable <strong>Autostart<\/strong>.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In order to authorize reloads via an RFID card, the Autostart option must be disabled in advance; refer to the &#8220;Guided Configuration&#8221; guide <a href=\"https:\/\/silla.industries\/es\/docs\/prism-howto-configurazione-guidata\/#12-toc-title\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/silla.industries\/docs\/prism-howto-configurazione-guidata\/#12-toc-title\">Autostart<\/a> section.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access <strong>MySilla<\/strong>:  <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-16819\" style=\"width: 300px;\" src=\"https:\/\/silla.industries\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/MySilla-Login-2.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add, if not present your own device:<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-16822\" style=\"width: 1000px;\" src=\"https:\/\/silla.industries\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/MySilla-aggiungi-dispositivo.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the drop-down menu in the upper right and press on <strong>HoReCa Service:<\/strong><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-16800\" style=\"width: 1000px;\" src=\"https:\/\/silla.industries\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Horeca-Dashboard.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Confirm the activation of <strong>HoReCa<\/strong>:<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-16825\" style=\"width: 1000px;\" src=\"https:\/\/silla.industries\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Horeca-Attiva-oggi.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Press <strong>the gear <\/strong>in the upper right corner:<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-16803\" style=\"width: 1000px;\" src=\"https:\/\/silla.industries\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Horeca-Home.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Press on <strong>RFID Card <\/strong>and then on <strong>Add Card<\/strong>:<br\/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-16809\" style=\"width: 1000px;\" src=\"https:\/\/silla.industries\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Horeca-RFID-Card.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the charger you want to associate the card with and choose whether to <strong>enable\/disable it<\/strong>.<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-16797\" style=\"width: 1000px;\" src=\"https:\/\/silla.industries\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Horeca-Aggiungi-Card.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Use<\/h1>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through the use of RFID cards, the various charging sessions can be managed through:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Start Recharge<\/strong>.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>connect the car to Prism and bring the card close to the top of the charging station: a beep will sound and the LEDs will turn green<strong>:<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/silla.industries\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IMG-my_silla_cloud_solar_s_rfid-1100.jpg\" data-type=\"attachment\" data-id=\"15050\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"451\" class=\"wp-image-15050\" style=\"width: 500px;\" src=\"https:\/\/silla.industries\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IMG-my_silla_cloud_solar_s_rfid-1100.jpg\" alt=\"Prism Solar S RFID Card\" srcset=\"https:\/\/silla.industries\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IMG-my_silla_cloud_solar_s_rfid-1100.jpg 961w, https:\/\/silla.industries\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IMG-my_silla_cloud_solar_s_rfid-1100-300x270.jpg 300w, https:\/\/silla.industries\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IMG-my_silla_cloud_solar_s_rfid-1100-768x692.jpg 768w, https:\/\/silla.industries\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IMG-my_silla_cloud_solar_s_rfid-1100-360x324.jpg 360w, https:\/\/silla.industries\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IMG-my_silla_cloud_solar_s_rfid-1100-600x541.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To stop charging, simply bring the card close again; an audible feedback will follow and charging will stop.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div class=\"warning\">\nIf the cable is disconnected, it will be necessary to authenticate again to resume charging; the charging session will start from scratch.\n<\/div>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>NOTES<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>if the card is swiped before connecting the car, you will receive negative feedback.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>if charging is stopped, the cable will not be unlocked; the cable is unlocked only when charging is stopped via the car. It will first be unlocked car side, and when disconnected from the car it will also unlock Prism side. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Reporting<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order to verify the various sessions authenticated with one or more cards it will be necessary:<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Log on to <strong>MySillaCloud<\/strong>:<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-16819\" style=\"width: 500px;\" src=\"https:\/\/silla.industries\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/MySilla-Login-2.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select from the drop-down menu <strong>Horeca Service<\/strong>:<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-16800\" style=\"width: 1000px;\" src=\"https:\/\/silla.industries\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Horeca-Dashboard.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the name of the Card with which to filter the sessions that will all be presented in a table.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You will find information such as:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Serial RFID;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Name of card;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Start date and time;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>End date and time;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reference (information to identify the session);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Session energy (kWh drawn from the grid);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Amount (total recharge cost);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Actions (set reference, delete and print).<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-16803\" style=\"width: 1000px;\" src=\"https:\/\/silla.industries\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Horeca-Home.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It will also be possible to download the non-tax receipt as evidence of what is taken in terms of economy and energy.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Simply press the print button and a summary .pdf file will be generated:<a href=\"https:\/\/silla.industries\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IMG-my_silla_cloud_horeca-devices_2955_print-1100.jpg\" data-type=\"attachment\" data-id=\"15042\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1100\" height=\"821\" class=\"wp-image-15042\" style=\"width: 1100px;\" src=\"https:\/\/silla.industries\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IMG-my_silla_cloud_horeca-devices_2955_print-1100.jpg\" alt=\"My Silla Cloud Horeca devices press\" srcset=\"https:\/\/silla.industries\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IMG-my_silla_cloud_horeca-devices_2955_print-1100.jpg 1100w, https:\/\/silla.industries\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IMG-my_silla_cloud_horeca-devices_2955_print-1100-300x224.jpg 300w, https:\/\/silla.industries\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IMG-my_silla_cloud_horeca-devices_2955_print-1100-1024x764.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/silla.industries\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IMG-my_silla_cloud_horeca-devices_2955_print-1100-768x573.jpg 768w, https:\/\/silla.industries\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IMG-my_silla_cloud_horeca-devices_2955_print-1100-360x269.jpg 360w, https:\/\/silla.industries\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IMG-my_silla_cloud_horeca-devices_2955_print-1100-600x448.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1100px) 100vw, 1100px\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Troubleshooting<\/h1>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">I lost my cards, what can I do?<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If one or more cards are lost, it will be sufficient to disable them to prevent their recharge authorization function.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"note\">\nIf you lose your cards, you can order new ones through our e-shop.\n<\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">I configured Prism via OCPP; do I need to activate the tiles on HoReCa?<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No. In case of OCPP operation, card and authorization management is done by the OCPP Central System.
