Padua – Treviso, March 28. Can Energy Communities provide an assist to the spread of e-mobility? Silla Industries and Regalgrid are convinced they can. An agreement between the two Veneto-based companies was born with this in mind, which aims to bring together proprietary and patented hardware and software technologies to include electric charging stations in the habitat of ERCs, ensuring the best possible level of integration and efficiency.
In the collaboration, Regalgrid, an innovative technology provider from Treviso that has been developing a renewable energy management system since 2016 through the combination and coordination of different hardware for the exchange and optimization of energy flows, provides its proprietary platform for the smart management of energy resources, while Silla Industries, a Padua-based e-mobility company, its hi-tech vehicle charging systems, such as Prism Solar. Interfacing technologies will make it possible to switch excess energy from photovoltaic systems into energy to recharge the car, interact with digital systems to optimize energy flows, and make charging systems CER Ready, i.e., ready for entry into the energy community combined with photovoltaics or as consumption points.

“The great sustainability project promoted by Renewable Energy Communities has a real chance to change the way our country consumes. Including electric vehicle charging means raising the awareness and value of the virtuous behaviors of their constituent members, and with Regalgrid we can achieve this.” Alberto Stecca – CEO of Silla Industries – comments.
“Renewable Energy Communities recognize a key role in sustainable energy use for the consumer, a new and unprecedented fact. It is therefore essential to consider and integrate electric mobility, which is energy intensive by nature, into energy transition plans. We strongly believe that collaborating with Silla, a leader in technological innovation in the sector, can lead to a significant acceleration in this direction, making the process more efficient and integrated with Regalgrid systems,” comments Stefano Scolari, Chief Operations Officer of Regalgrid Europe.
