January 2025 – A new partnership: Silla Industries has provided Italfeltri-Nercos with its Prism Solar wall boxes to recharge vehicles at the company’s two plants in the province of Padua-which operates in the injection molding industry-using green energy produced by the photovoltaic system.
“We come from a highly energy-intensive world,” explain Henry Borsato, CEO of Italfeltri, and Fausto Costola, general manager of Nercos. “But respecting people, our customers and the places where we live has always been a priority for us. We were among the first to invest in photovoltaics, coming today to have 460 kW installed, together with the parent company, to which we are about to add another 100 next year. We strongly believe in self-consumption of energy and, in the last 12 months alone, we have used more than 400 megawatts produced on our rooftops with an overall 35 percent energy saving between the two plants. To this, we added a push for electric mobility, incentivizing everyone, and to do this we chose Prism from Silla Industries, which has the ability to interact with photovoltaic panels like no charger, installing a dozen of them between the two poles.” The wall boxes chosen by Italfeltri-Nercos are the three-phase Prism Solar, which can be connected to any three-phase meter, of any power rating, and can automatically regulate consumption to avoid disconnections from the grid, thus ensuring recharging with the excess energy produced by photovoltaic systems.
“We are happy that the choice of Italfeltri-Nercos has fallen on Prism,” adds Alberto Stecca, CEO of Silla Industries. “The optimization of photovoltaic energy consumption ensured by our technology is an important asset, for those who really want to protect the environment in an optimal way, enjoying every advantage that nature, through the sun, gives us.”
