Padua, April 4, 2023-The news of the agreement reached between the European Parliament and the EU Council on the reform of the Renewable Energy Directive is of recent days: an encouraging signal to promote and accelerate the implementation of solar, hydro, heat pump, biomass or wind installations in the European Union, allowing an increasingly clear approach to the Paris targets for climate neutrality by 2050.

There is certainly one recipe, but synergy between all avenues in the renewable world can only facilitate this transition. This is the opinion of Silla Industries, a start-up from Padua listed by the Financial Times as 80th among the fastest-growing companies in Europe, which focuses on products that can support this dialogue: the new Prism electric charging stations ensure perfect synergy with domestic photovoltaic systems to optimally manage energy storage, an aspect that allows these solutions to fit best within an increasingly virtuous and smart ecosystem for consumption management.
In particular, the Prism Solar range of charging columns is enriched with Prism Solar S, which, instead of a cable and connector like the established Prism Solar, is equipped with a Type 2S socket for semi-public or public installations, where solutions without a cable and connector are required.
Some European countries, such as French-speaking countries, explicitly require charging columns with a socket instead of a cable and connector. Prism Solar S’s socket is equipped with a shutter for maximum safety of use, protecting electrical contacts even if the charging column fails. Prism Solar S is also available in a version with GSM (LTE) connectivity alongside traditional Ethernet or WiFi connections.
“The agreement reached in these hours fosters optimism for the future but especially for the present of e-mobility for an increasingly sustainable world,” comments Alberto Stecca, CEO of Silla Industries.“We realize every day more and more that it is the synergy between different solutions that attracts customers and distributors in the European market: that’s why the new solution adheres to EU safety standards, thus promoting the adoption of our solutions also by countries beyond the Alps, which also show a marked appreciation for this new branch of Made in Italy.”
