Padua, Sept. 22, 2022 – To land in pompa magna at the Paris Motor Show 2022 with new unreleased products is Silla Industries, a Padua-based smart mobility start-up founded by Alberto Stecca and Cristiano Griletti. A brave choice, rewarded and supported by the trust given to the project by Simest. The international automotive milestone, now in its 89th edition, will in fact give great space to the new revolution taking place between electrification, hybridization and hyperconnectivity of the mobility of the future.
Debuting at the world’s most iconic showcase Oct. 17-23 will be revolutionary new products for home AC charging: the now legendary Prism will appear in the new version Prism Plus, equipped with internet connection for charging the vehicle even in Night mode and to manage the column remotely and Wallegg, single-phase charging column, equipped with an outlet and intended for the b2b market; then there will be Energy Hub 149, one-stop center for energy and communications management of the home and charging; but most importantly, the big news will be the Duke 44, the new column that introduces 44kW direct current charging by introducing bidirectional charging to the market.
Presented as a prototype, Duke 44 in addition to the advantage of enabling fast and high-performance charging times, anticipates bidirectional DC charging to use V2H (vehicle to home), V2G (vehicle to grid), and V2V (vehicle to vehicle) capabilities. The new column is capable of switching energy from car system to home system, grid, and other vehicle, thanks in part to the dual 22kW DC connector. Because of its characteristics Duke44 proves to be particularly suitable for installation in commercial establishments (HoReCa, gyms, and supermarkets, for example) and in general all environments where the motorist stops for short periods with charging sessions accountable by the column’s operating system.
“We are really proud of the innovation achieved by our R&D team with these new products intended to introduce opportunities previously unseen in the industry, with bidirectionality in DC,” says Alberto Stecca, CEO of Silla Industries. “The result of fruitful research and development, the solutions we are going to present at Mondial anticipate trends and hybridize charging with intelligent energy management, proving perfectly faithful to the future-proof philosophy that distinguishes each of our products. We are ambitious: in our pipeline, internationalization has always occupied a prominent role. We therefore welcome with responsibility and pride the opportunity, also made possible by SIMEST, to exhibit the value of our new totally Made in Italy projects in support of tomorrow’s mobility.”
Sustainability, another core value of the company’s business, is also expressed in the choice made by Silla Industries to reach Porte de Versaille. “We chose to move low-impact by preferring, train travel to air travel for our entire team involved in the fair.”
