Padua, March 2022 – Commitment to a more sustainable consumption model and greater attention to environmental impact: these are the values that unite Silla Industries and Labozeta that have contributed to the partnership between the two companies. In fact, the Padua-based e-mobility start-up has been chosen by the Rome-based company, active since 1983 in the design and construction of scientific laboratories, to work alongside it in the important project of conversion to a green economy aimed at reducing CO2 emissions.
In particular, what convinced Labozeta was Prism Solar’s ability to ensure full synergy with photovoltaic systems in recharging the company’s new, all-electric car fleet.
“From the beginning, we had no doubts in the possibility of involving Silla Industries in this project, confident that their flagship product was exactly what we needed to enhance the new solar panels and harness the excess energy produced to recharge electric cars for our employees with a view to progressively reducing our energy dependence and impact on the environment,” comments Andrea De Matthaeis, CEO of Labozeta S.p.A. ” And the numbers can testify to that: it is as if we have avoided 45 thousand kilometers traveled by a car by lowering the emission of greenhouse gases by 11.22 tons of CO2 in one year.”
“We fully share Labozeta’s green philosophy and its commitment to sustainability,” adds Alberto Stecca, CEO of Silla Industries.“At a time of increased pressure on energy spending and a strong focus on new and increasingly sustainable models, electric mobility is an important part of the commitment to the energy transition process, and this is the ideal time to invest in a highly efficient economy based on 100 percent renewable sources.”
