SILLA DESIGNS THE FUTURE OF ELECTRIC CHARGING WITH TWO INNOVATIONS

E-Charge in Bologna is the chosen stage for the debut of Prism Next Generation, the next generation of home chargers, and GEMINI, the innovative Plug ‘n Charge charging station for the Ho.Re.Ca. world.

Padua, April 2024 – The second edition of Echarge 2024 will be the setting for the innovations that Silla Industries has designed to overcome the current challenges of electric charging, both domestic and business, with cutting-edge, smart and user-friendly solutions. The Padua-based company has chosen the important Bologna-based event dedicated to the supply chain of technologies, infrastructures and charging systems for electric mobility, which will be held at the fairgrounds on May 7 and 8, to present two new products.

We are constantly engaged in the research and development of cutting-edge technological solutions by bringing future-proof products to the market, in our mission to facilitate the diffusion and adoption of electric vehicles on a large scale,” comments Alberto Stecca, CEO of Silla Industries, who will also speak at the third edition of E-Tech Europe 2024, the international event dedicated to electric mobility taking place in Bologna on the same days, in the session dedicated to “Home and Private Charging: Technologies,” on May 8 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.

With Prism Next Generation, Silla Industries takes a step forward by further enriching the Prism range: in fact, the innovative home charging product was born ready to interact with upcoming two-way AC systems. Also changing is its appearance: the device will in fact be equipped with a touch display from which it will be possible to set the charging percentage to be achieved per session, taking advantage of Prism NG’s ability to communicate and identify the connected vehicle, with a view to making home charging increasingly Smart and user friendly. Prism NG will include Prism Solar’s already popular, top-of-the-line technology features that enable vehicle charging with excess energy produced by photovoltaics and advanced connectivity.

Aimed at the entire horeca sector and a more business audience is the second novelty that Silla Industries is preparing to launch: GEMINI is the charging station with two outlets, for up to 22 kW of power each, that combines with Plug ‘n Charge technology for automatic recognition of the car at the time of refueling. With the possibility of contactless payment or via QR code, combined with the Charge To It cash management service, GEMINI is the ideal solution for businesses that want to offer an additional, high value-added service to their customers with electric charging. Any geolocation of the GEMINI charging station is always possible, at the discretion of the station owner, as is the price per kWh to be charged to the customer.

These product innovations are also accompanied by Silla’ s revamping of the user interface with a new App for Android and iOS that implements new features and improves the user experience in daily device use.

With the trade show occasion, memberships also open for Silla Premium Service, the partnership program aimed at active installers in the territory, who are offered a dedicated training and certification path to be able to install and operate Silla devices “in a workmanlike manner.”
