80% SUPERBONUS ARRIVES FROM MINISTRY OF TOURISM THE GREAT HOSPITALITY FLYWHEEL FOR EMOBILITY AND GREEN ENERGY

Facilities in the hospitality sector are the stars of the Superbonus 80% initiative.

Padua, March 2, 2022 – Hotels, agritourisms, open-air accommodations, businesses in the tourism, recreation, fair and conference sectors, including bathing establishments, spa complexes, marinas, and theme parks, including water and wildlife parks. They will be the protagonists of the Superbonus 80% Hotels for Green Energy initiative, launched by the Ministry of Tourism, with a capacity of 500 million euros and available from March 4 to April 4, 2022 on Invitalia’s website.

Minister Garavaglia has decided that the rebirth of Italian tourism also passes through here: owners and operators in the HoReCa world will in fact be able to use contributions to equip themselves with photovoltaic systems and storage systems, as well as for the purchase of charging stations for electric mobility. There are two types of incentives: tax credit up to 80 percent of eligible expenses for interventions carried out from 07/11/2021 to 31/12/2024 and for those started after Feb. 1, 2020 but not yet completed, provided that the costs have been incurred since 07/11/2021 and transferable to third parties; and finally, non-refundable contribution, provided for an amount not exceeding 50 percent of the costs for works carried out from Nov. 7, 2021 to Dec. 31, 2024, for a maximum amount of 40,000 euros.

Undoubted advantages to better accommodate foreign tourists and Italians-increasingly won over by e-mobility-worried by the limited availability of charging stations on the peninsula’s roads.

“We have thought of everything, creating a product specifically for the HoReCa sector. It is called Prism Solar and it is a modular system and allows restaurateurs, hoteliers, managers of establishments and all kinds of public venues to offer all customers a service for recharging their vehicles, with exact reporting of the energy consumed by each car,” comments Alberto Stecca, CEO of Silla Industries, the Padua-based start-up. “The substantial allocation of funds from the Ministry of Tourism says that the green turn is really one of the keys to the success of Italian tourism, this new summer and those to come. Making ourselves more visible by offering clean energy and electric recharging on all the tracking systems that smart motorists have created to travel safely can really represent a great potential to increase our own turnover and present ourselves to an international, informed and aware audience that does not yet know us.”

How Prism Solar Works

The real fortune for the hospitality sector lies in the perfect synergy between the Cluster10 or 50 elements, the dedicated My.Silla App, and the HoReCa service. Cluster10 allows up to 10 Solar charging points without the need to purchase any additional products. With the Cluster50 solution, on the other hand, it will be possible to install up to 50 charging points, with a proposal more suitable for large hotels, establishments or campsites. Both versions take advantage of RFID technology that enables, through the use of simple smart cards, the activation of individual vehicle charging and its reporting.

Each merchant will be able, through the My.Silla, access a control panel that will allow them to monitor and manage all Prism Solar recharge points from a single interface, and again, through the HoReCa service, configure the sales price per kWh for the energy delivered, record and value each individual session indicating the total kWh and cost, even assigning multiple sessions to the same customer (useful for B&B or hotels where the customer stays several days) and drawing up a final total in a non-fiscal receipt (to be followed by a receipt or receipt) of all recharges made.
