The partnership between Silla Industries and Ge Farm for the new Caricar column is born

An agreement between the two environmentally-conscious Padua startups: making green networking zero miles.

Padua, Oct. 06, 2022 – Ten thousand new electric mobility columns in the next 24 months: this is the ambitious goal of the new partnership formed between two young Paduan excellences GE FARM and Silla Industries, which came into contact through their participation in the innovation ecosystem Le Village by CA Triveneto.

Both future proof and devoted to designing and developing green solutions, the two start-ups have just signed a collaboration agreement for electric mobility. Silla Industries will produce the new AC charging stations for GE FARM, in dual models in corded or plug-in versions.

The new product, with a unique design and named Caricar, will be produced in 10 thousand units by the end of 2024 to support GE FARM’s growing demand to equip private spaces, apartment buildings, and public places with e-mobility tools.

“We are really proud of this new zero-mileage agreement,” comments Alessandro Marcuzzi, CEO of GE FARM. “We share the same values: respect for the environment, propensity for innovation and attention to energy saving. Caricar is exactly the resultant of these three guidelines, thanks to its ability to dialogue with photovoltaic energy and to optimize consumption and costs in the best possible way, as well as having a design worthy of the best Made in Italy.”

“The ease of understanding between our companies was crystal clear from the start,” adds Alberto Stecca, CEO of Silla Industries. “The trust that the GE FARM team has in a better, greener world is the same trust that has firmly nurtured our growth. Our products are entirely Made in Italy: and knowing that this new agreement will make smart mobility more shared in our region can only make us even more pleased.”

The agreement was made possible thanks to the enlightened initiative Le Village by CA Triveneto, the international ecosystem also based in Padua, which supports the growth of startups and accelerates corporate innovation with synergy and connection between large corporations, young companies, investors and Crédit Agricole Italia. “The partnership between these two companies demonstrates how the Le Village model facilitates collaboration and supports growth. Silla Industries and GE FARM are excellences whose collaboration will surely bring innovation to the area,” says Matteo Di Biagi, Director of Le Village by CA Triveneto, with satisfaction.
