Padua, Feb. 18, 2021 – The Superbonus race knows no respite, just as the regulations governing renovations know no respite. Among the latest additions are those related to the installation of infrastructure for charging electric vehicles in buildings, the so-called charging stations, for which paragraph 8 of Article 119 provides the possibility of enjoying the 110% deduction against a set of rules for expenses incurred until June 30, 2022. Specifically, the legislature has allocated new reimbursement caps: €2,000 for single-family buildings/building units located within multi-family buildings that are functionally independent and have independent access from the outside; €1,500 for multi-family buildings/condominiums that install a maximum number of 8 columns; and €1,200 for multi-family buildings/condominiums that install more than 8 columns.
To meet the new needs of the construction world and architects and surveyors, Silla Industries, the Veneto-based e-mobility startup, is launching Prism Basic, a simplified version of the parent Prism Solar. Prism Basic allows for ease of application and use, simplified management and maintenance, but above all, the ability to make the best use of energy, to ensure profitable consumption without ever having to worry about a meter overload. It comes in a single-phase version, with a 5-meter cable and with the possibility – unique in the market – to easily allow the upgrade to the Solar version, if the building has solar panels, with the simple replacement of the front panel, available separately as an aftermarket accessory.
“We listened to the requests and identified in Prism Basic the right solution for the growing needs of the market,” comments Alberto Stecca, founder with Cristiano Griletti of Silla Industries and CEO. “The rich opportunity of the superbonus allows Italy to give e-mobility the space it deserves, thanks to the related tax breaks and the growing attention to sustainability: today there is 100 thousand units of the circulating electric car fleet with a growing interest, as shown by the success of the whole operation.”
Prism Basic is a universal charger for electric mobility, conceived, designed, developed and produced entirely in Italy. With unique features, it works with all vehicles equipped with a Type2 connector, the standard in Europe for charging electric vehicles (Battery Electric Vehicle) and plug-in hybrids (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle).
Its main features include the ability to:
- manage the power available at the home meter, never exceeding it, automatically adjusting the charge delivered to the car to avoid overloads and subsequent blackouts;
- realize installation quickly and easily, with reduced intervention time, and with the sensor for power output management already included in the scope of supply;
- interrupt the power supply at the first signal of malfunction due to the RCM (Residual Current Monitor) already contained within;
- replace the standard front panel with that of Prism Solar (sold as a separate accessory) to take advantage of the latter’s features: remote control via the Cloud, management of excess energy produced by a solar system, and scheduling of charging by time slot.
