Mattia Battagion Head of Sustainability at Will Media was our welcome guest during the last episode of Electric Chats. The live broadcast confronted in the same virtual living room theinnovative company, represented by our CEO Alberto Stecca, and the new media information platforms, of which Mattia is an excellent exponent.
Communicating Ecological Transition and Electric Mobility.
If the Ecological Transition is a necessary and irreversible horizon that will push us to change our habits, surely electric mobility is among its most challenging aspects. For the process to be virtuous and universal, the need to adopt new (and good) transportation practices and make an evolution in the way we live and consider the car must be supported and explained.
It is precisely here that the role of the innovative company, which produces the means to make advanced mobility usable, and that of the information company, which generates an informed public, fit in unison.

Creating value is possible but only with hard data and inclusive language
The goal of the communicator is to move from basics, sources and hard data to educate the audience about complexity, without lapsing into clichés. The litmus test of the entire process is dialogue with the community, then listening. The question arises: can an audience that participates in the conversation, asks questions and requests insights be achieved? Indeed. Proof of this is all the extraordinary activity of Will Media, with which Mattia collaborates. After all, if the platform has chosen as its claim,“If you can’t say it easy, it means you don’t know it enough,” it is also because the language used to communicate with users is inclusive and understandable.
A modus operandi far removed from the use of polarization or the phenomenon of “click-catcher” titling.

From “theme “to common sense, the future of sustainability is mainstream (in a good way)
Sustainability that becomes dominant is one that is communicated across the board in a robust and authentic way, including all players involved in the transition to an alternative future in the conversation.
The company becomes a solution tank for repurposing processes, training people, relocating resources; communication documents the process by returning to its primary function: asking questions, answering them based on certain data and, of course, educating.

Road to Fit for 55, the “engine” of Ecological Transition
Just as we write this article, the European stance toward stopping the production and sale of endothermic-powered cars in 2035 is being made official.
A solution that is part of the package of initiatives called“Fit for 55,” the EU plan for green transition.
Too many or too few, depending on viewpoint and context, how we decide to use the 12 years to Year 0 of mobility is very much up to us. What is certain for Silla and will happen is that innovative company and information will engage in useful cooperation for the community.
We are ready!
