Guide on the operation of LEDs: Prism Solar S

This guide explains all the LED signals that the user might encounter while using Prism Solar S.


Status: In office

Prism is delivering power to the car.

The colors of the LEDs will vary yellow and green in proportion to the amount of solar/network energy absorbed by the car.

Status: Stand By

Prism results disconnected from the car.

Plug in the car to start charging.
Prism Solar S Stand By

Status: Pause

Prism is not delivering power to the car, the reasons may be:

  • Pause mode has been entered
  • Prism is waiting for power
Prism Solar S Pause

Status: Authorization request

Prism is waiting for authentication from the user in order to initiate charging.

Approach the key fob or RFID card to enable charging.

Note: Charging can also be enabled from the local Dashboard and My Silla Cloud.

Prism Solar S authentication

Status: Update in progress

Prism is undergoing a Software update.

Do not turn off or disconnect Prism.
Prism Solar S upgrade

Status: Lack of internet network

Prism does not appear to be connected to the Internet, please try again.
Prism Solar S lack of internet network

Status: Sensor connection error

Verify that the connection of Smart Meter to Prism is correct.

Note: Error present only in the three-phase version.

Status: Block Error connector

Prism failed to lock the charging connector.

Remove and reinsert the cable to Prism.

Status: Error

In any error condition, contact service for troubleshooting.

Led signals – Authentication method

Recharge without authentication

Charging without authentication does not require any special attention from the user, thus simplifying access to charging.

Simply plug Prism’s cable into the car, and charging will begin automatically.

Recharging with authentication

Charging with authentication requires the use of key fobs or RFID cards to allow a user to charge.

In order to recharge, it will be sufficient to plug in the car, bring the key fob or RFID card close to the indicated area and wait for the beep. When this is done, charging will begin immediately.
