Prism Basic single-phase

Prism Basic incorporates all the essential functions for charging an electric car:
- 230V single-phase version, for charging powers up to 7.4kW (depending on the meter to which it is connected)
- It is supplied with a 5mt cable (even if you park the car with the charging door far from Prism, the cable still reaches the car)
- It is suitable for any single-phase electric-meter, of any power (a 3kW meter is enough and when you boost the power of the electricity-meter, Prism Basic will be ready to provide even more power)
- It automatically regulates consumption to avoid electric grid disconnection (you will never have to reset the electricity-meter because of excessive absorption)
- Supplied with 5-meter cable and Type2 connector (the standard in Europe)
- Supplied with the sensor required for load balancing
- Upgradeable to Prism Solar even at times after purchase, getting all the functions of a Prism Solar by simply replacing the supplied front cover with a Smart Cover (available as a separate accessory)
- Resistant to rain and water jets, IP65 protection rating
RFID Smart Cover for Prism Basic
Smart Cover is the front cover that allows you to upgrade Prism Basic: from being the primary home charger for electric vehicles to Prism Solar Single-phase, obtaining all the features not originally foreseen. By replacing the standard front cover of Prism Basic with the RFID Smart Cover, the charger retains all the original features of Prism Basic, but it also gets:
- The management of the excess energy produced by a photovoltaic system. Prism uses it to recharge the car instead of sending it to the electricity network
- It works well with an energy storage system, such as a Powerwall
- It is directly connected to the internet via Wi-Fi or Ethernet (connecting it to your house router with a wire)
- The possibility to be managed via smartphone, desktop and cloud
- The integration of RFID reader
