Info

Prism Solar three-phase shares the same basic characteristics with the other Prism products. Different models differ in the type of power supply (single-phase or three-phase).

Prism Solar RFID three-phase – technical features:

It is suitable for any three-phase meter, of any power.
This means that it can also be connected to meters of lower power (e.g., 15kW) while still allowing the management of the charging of an electric car, although, of course, only up to the maximum power of the meter present in the system. But when the power available at the meter should be increased, Prism Solar will already be able to handle the new power.

Automatically adjusts consumption to avoid disconnection from the grid.
Regardless of the meter installed Prism Solar Tri-phase automatically adjusts the power sent to the car, measuring the energy absorbed by the rest of the house, so that the meter never intervenes for overloads due to your electric car, avoiding leaving you in the dark. The three sensors (it is three-phase) needed for operation are already included in the package.

Use the energy produced by a solar system to charge your car.
If you have a photovoltaic system, you already know that energy produced in excess of your consumption is sent to the grid. Prism Solar Tri-phase can detect this excess production and use it to charge your electric car instead of giving it to the grid.

Features built-in cable with Type2 connector.
Type 2 connectors are the de facto standard in Europe, no compatibility issues. And of course a three-phase Prism Solar can charge cars equipped with a three-phase on-board charger as well as single-phase on-board charger cars.

It is managed via smartphone/desktop and via the cloud.
Of course, it is necessary for Prism to be connected to the Internet, a connection that can be made via cable or even via Wi-Fi if Prism can reach the home Wi-Fi signal. And even in the event that Prism cannot be connected to the Internet, it can always be configured and used through its internal Wi-Fi, which can be reached by connecting directly to Prism’s Wi-Fi.

It works as a repeater for the Wi-Fi network.
When you can connect Prism to the Internet via Wi-Fi or cable (Ethernet network), you can use Prism as a Wi-Fi signal repeater to have the connection in the garage as well, for example, to be able to update the car’s firmware while charging.

It includes an RFID reader under the front cover.
Ed also comes with two RFID keys to be used, for example, to start charging the car in situations where it is not possible (or desired) for charging to start automatically when the connector is plugged into the car.

It is already equipped with RCM (Residual Current Monitor).
There is no need to add this AC/DC current protection during installation because it is already present in Prism Solar three-phase, to ensure maximum safety and to minimize installation costs.

It is installed outdoors and is not afraid of contact with water.
Like all components in the Prism range, the loader can be installed outdoors. Prism does not fear exposure to liquid intrusion and/or solid particles (such as dust).
This is thanks to a specially designed cover design. In fact, the body of the cover is closed by as many as 12 screws, protecting the most sensitive electronic parts.
The IP65 rating means that the device is fully protected against the ingress of dust, sand and generally any small solid body, as well as against strong jets of water.
