Prism Solar Twin Single-phase is Silla Industries’ wallbox with two independent charging outlets, designed for those with two electric vehicles to charge on a single-phase system. One single charging station installed, half the electrical work, twice the convenience.
The power available on the single-phase meter is intelligently distributed between the two outlets dynamically. Balancing is automatic, in real time, and also takes overall consumption into account.
All the energy intelligence of Prism Solar. Twin Single-phase brings all the features of the Prism Solar range to the dual outlet: photovoltaic integration, management via the Silla app and the Monitor Portal web app, RFID, time scheduling, OCPP. You can direct excess solar energy to a single outlet or to both.
Simple, streamlined installation. A single charging station replaces two separate wallboxes, with just one connection to the electrical system. The load-balancing sensor is included.

Prism Solar Twin Single-phase shares the same core features with the other products in the Prism range. The different models are differentiated by the type of power supply (single-phase or three-phase).
Prism Solar Twin Single-phase:
It’s a charging station suited to any single-phase meter, regardless of power rating.
This means it can also be connected to lower-power meters (e.g. 6kW), still allowing electric vehicle charging management, though of course only up to the maximum power of the meter present in the system. But should the available power at the meter be increased, Prism Solar Twin will already be able to manage the new power level.
Automatically regulates consumption to prevent disconnection from the grid.
Regardless of the meter installed, Prism Solar Twin Single-phase automatically regulates the power sent to the vehicle, measuring the energy absorbed by the rest of the house, so that the meter never trips due to overloads caused by your electric car, avoiding a power outage. The sensors needed for operation are already included in the package.
Uses energy produced by a solar system to charge the car.
If you have a photovoltaic system, you already know that energy produced in excess of your consumption is sent to the grid. Prism Solar Twin Single-phase can detect this excess production and use it to charge your electric car instead of feeding it back to the grid.
Equipped with outlets with integrated cable and Type 2 connector.
Type 2 connectors are effectively the standard in Europe, so there’s no compatibility issue. And naturally, a Prism Solar Twin Single-phase can charge vehicles equipped with a single-phase onboard charger as well as vehicles equipped with a three-phase onboard charger (though it will of course only charge in single-phase mode, up to 7.4 kW).
Managed via smartphone/desktop and via the cloud.
Naturally, Prism needs to be connected to the internet, a connection that can be made via cable or via Wi-Fi if Prism can reach the home Wi-Fi signal. And even if Prism cannot be connected to the internet, it can always be configured and used through its internal Wi-Fi, accessible by connecting directly to Prism’s Wi-Fi.
Works as a Wi-Fi network repeater.
When Prism can be connected to the internet via Wi-Fi or cable (ethernet network), it can be used as a Wi-Fi signal repeater to provide connectivity even in the garage, for example to update the vehicle’s firmware during charging.
Includes two RFID readers under the front covers.
It also comes with an RFID card to use, for example, to start the vehicle’s charging in situations where automatic charging on connector insertion is not possible (or not desired).
Already equipped with RCM (Residual Current Monitor).
There’s no need to add this AC/DC current protection during installation, because it’s already built into Prism Solar Twin Single-phase, ensuring maximum safety while minimizing installation costs.
Installs outdoors and is not affected by contact with water.
Like all products in the Prism range, the charging station can be installed outdoors. Prism is not affected by exposure to the intrusion of liquids and/or solid particles (such as dust).
This is thanks to a cover design engineered specifically for this purpose. The cover body is in fact closed with no fewer than 12 screws, protecting the most sensitive electronic components.
The IP65 rating indicates that the device is fully protected against the ingress of dust, sand, and generally any small solid particles, as well as against powerful water jets.

FAQ
If two cars are connected at the same time, how much power does each one receive?
With a single-phase system, the total power available for charging is a maximum of 7.4 kW (minus any ongoing household consumption). When both cars are connected, this power is dynamically distributed between the two outlets. If one of the two cars finishes charging or disconnects, the other automatically receives all the available power.
Is Prism Solar Twin Single-phase different from installing two separate Prism Solar units?
Yes. Twin is an integrated solution: a single charging station with two outlets managed in a coordinated, intelligent way. Two separate wallboxes would require two electrical lines, two sensors, and would have no dynamic balancing system between them. Twin is cheaper to install and more efficient in its use of available power.
How does solar integration work on Twin Single-phase?
It works the same way as a single Prism Solar: the wallbox measures the excess solar energy and directs it to the charging outlets automatically. Distribution between the two outlets is managed by the built-in balancing system.
If I have a three-phase system and want to charge two cars, should I get Twin Single-phase or Twin Three-phase?
If you have a three-phase system, the optimal choice is Prism Solar Twin Three-phase: it delivers 22 kW on each of the two outlets independently, even when both are in use at the same time. Twin Single-phase is designed specifically for single-phase systems.

How to start charging on one or both outlets
Prism Solar Twin Single-phase has two independent outlets, each with its own connector. Both work exactly like a standard Prism Solar.
Charging on a single outlet: connect one of the two outlets’ connectors to the car. Charging starts automatically (or after RFID authentication, if enabled). The other outlet remains on standby and can be used at any time.
Charging on both outlets at the same time: connect both cars, one to each outlet. Both charging sessions start automatically. Prism Solar Twin Single-phase automatically distributes the available power between the two outlets and relative to household loads, without ever exceeding the meter’s limit.
How to read the LEDs on Prism Solar Twin Single-phase
Prism Solar Twin Single-phase has two sets of LEDs, one for each outlet. Each set behaves exactly as described in the LED section for Prism Solar Single-phase, referring to its own outlet. For example, you can have at the same time:
- Outlet 1: green LED (charging from the grid)
- Outlet 2: yellow LED (charging from solar)
How to manage the two outlets from the Silla app
From the Silla app you can see both outlets in the device detail screen. For each one you can:
- See the real-time status (charging, paused, disconnected)
- Start or stop charging
- Change the mode (Normal, Solar, Pause)
- View the charging session history
How power is split between the two outlets
On a single-phase system, the total power available for charging is a maximum of 7.4 kW (minus any ongoing consumption on the associated grid). When both cars are connected, the system distributes this power dynamically. Practical example: car A reaches 100% and stops charging. The 5.5 kW is fully assigned to car B.
