The charging station for those who think big.
Prism Solar Twin Three-phase is Silla Industries’ charging station with two independent outlets on a three-phase system: each of the two outlets delivers up to 22 kW, even when both are in use at the same time. A professional solution in a friendly format. Twin Three-phase offers maximum performance on both outlets simultaneously.

All the energy intelligence of Prism Solar. Photovoltaic integration, load balancing, app management, RFID authentication, OCPP protocol, and time-slot scheduling: all standard, as across the entire Prism Solar range.

Prism Solar Twin Three-phase shares the same core features with the other products in the Prism range. The different models are differentiated by the type of power supply (single-phase or three-phase).

Prism Solar Twin Three-phase – technical features:

It’s a charging station suited to any three-phase meter, regardless of power rating.
This means it can also be connected to lower-power meters (e.g. 15kW), still allowing electric vehicle charging management, though of course only up to the maximum power of the meter present in the system. But should the available power at the meter be increased, Prism Solar Twin will already be able to manage the new power level.

Automatically regulates consumption to prevent disconnection from the grid.
Regardless of the meter installed, Prism Solar Twin Three-phase automatically regulates the power sent to the vehicle, measuring the energy absorbed by the rest of the house. This way, the meter never trips due to overloads caused by your electric car, avoiding a power outage. The three sensors (it’s three-phase) needed for operation are already included in the package.

Uses energy produced by a solar system to charge the car.
If you have a photovoltaic system, you already know that energy produced in excess of your consumption is sent to the grid. Prism Solar Twin Three-phase can detect this excess production and use it to charge your electric car instead of feeding it back to the grid.

Equipped with outlets with integrated cable and Type 2 connector.
Type 2 connectors are effectively the standard in Europe, so there’s no compatibility issue. And naturally, a Prism Solar Twin Three-phase can charge vehicles equipped with a three-phase onboard charger as well as vehicles equipped with a single-phase onboard charger.

Managed via smartphone/desktop and via the cloud.
Prism Solar Twin Three-phase needs to be connected to the internet, a connection that can be made via cable or via Wi-Fi if Prism can reach the home Wi-Fi signal. And even if Prism cannot be connected to the internet, it can always be configured and used through its internal Wi-Fi, accessible by connecting directly to Prism’s Wi-Fi.

Works as a Wi-Fi network repeater.
When Prism can be connected to the internet via Wi-Fi or cable (ethernet network), it can be used as a Wi-Fi signal repeater to provide connectivity even in the garage, for example to update the vehicle’s firmware during charging.

Includes two RFID readers under the front covers.
It also comes with an RFID card to use, for example, to start the vehicle’s charging in situations where automatic charging on connector insertion is not possible (or not desired).

Already equipped with RCM (Residual Current Monitor).
There’s no need to add this AC/DC current protection during installation, because it’s already built into Prism Solar Twin Three-phase, ensuring maximum safety while minimizing installation costs.

Installs outdoors and is not affected by contact with water.
Like all products in the Prism range, the charging station can be installed outdoors. Prism Solar Twin Three-phase is not affected by exposure to the intrusion of liquids and/or solid particles (such as dust).
This is thanks to a cover design engineered specifically for this purpose. The cover body is in fact closed with no fewer than 12 screws, protecting the most sensitive electronic components.
The IP65 rating indicates that the device is fully protected against the ingress of dust, sand, and generally any small solid particles, as well as against powerful water jets.

FAQ

Do both outlets really deliver 22 kW at the same time?
Yes. This is the distinctive feature of Prism Solar Three-phase model compared to the Single-phase one. Prism Solar Twin Three-phase delivers 22 kW on each of the two outlets independently, even when both are in use at the same time. The only condition is that the three-phase meter has sufficient contracted power.

What is the minimum contracted power required to use both outlets at full power?
To deliver 22 kW on each of the two outlets at the same time (44 kW total), adequate contracted power is required. The balancing system automatically manages distribution relative to total household consumption, so the actual power available varies depending on household usage. Your installer can assess the specific situation of your system.

How does the second Prism installed on a double-sided pole connect to the internet?
When Prism Solar Twin Three-phase is installed on a double-sided pole together with a second charging station, the internet connection of the second device requires a specific configuration. For details, see this page.

Is Prism Solar Twin Three-phase suitable for use in hospitality venues (HoReCa)?
Yes. Thanks to RFID and OCPP support, it’s fully suited to hotels, restaurants, farm stays, and sports centers. RFID smart cards control access to the outlets; through OCPP platforms, charging costs can be billed to guests. For the HoReCa configuration you can find the details on this page.

If only one of the two cars is connected, can it receive more than 22 kW?
No. The maximum power per outlet is 22 kW, whether one car is connected or both. If only one outlet is in use, all available power is delivered to that outlet up to a maximum of 22 kW; the second outlet remains inactive until another car is connected.

What to do if...

Prism Solar Twin Three-phase shares the user interface, LEDs, touch button, charging modes, and app configuration with Prism Solar Three-phase and Prism Solar Single-phase. See the Prism Solar section for the shared instructions.

The differences in everyday use compared to the single-phase model relate to the power available on each outlet.

How to start charging on one or both outlets

Operation is identical to Prism Solar Twin Single-phase: each outlet works independently, starts automatically when the cable is connected, and can be managed individually from the app.

Key difference from Prism Solar Twin Single-phase: on a three-phase system, each of the two outlets can deliver up to 22 kW independently, even when both are in use at the same time. There’s no balancing between the two outlets: both operate at the maximum power allowed by the contracted supply.

Practical example: Car A is charging at 22 kW. Car B connects. Car B also charges at 22 kW. No reduction on Car A.

How to manage the two outlets from the Silla app

From the Silla app you can see both outlets in the device detail screen. For each one you can:

  • See the real-time status (charging, paused, disconnected)
  • Start or stop charging
  • Change the mode (Normal, Solar, Pause)
  • View the charging session history

How to connect the second Prism on a double-sided pole to the internet

If Prism Solar Twin Three-phase is installed in a double-sided pole configuration together with a second Prism device, the internet connection of the second device requires a specific network setup procedure.

How to set up RFID smart cards for use in hospitality venues (HoReCa)

If you use Prism Solar Twin Three-phase in a hotel, farm stay, restaurant, or sports facility and want to assign RFID cards to guests or employees:

  1. Log in to the Silla Cloud dashboard with your account.
  2. In the “RFID” or “User management” section, you can add new cards by entering the unique code printed on the card itself.
  3. Assign each card a name or identifier (e.g. “Room 5”, “Employee Mario”).
  4. Assigned cards can start charging on any authenticated outlet.

For setting up billing to guests via OCPP, see the dedicated guide.
